FAQs

Will there be a recording if I can't attend live?
Yes, absolutely. The workshop will be recorded, and everyone who registers will receive the replay, even if you’re unable to attend live. You’ll receive the recording within 24 hours, and you’ll have 30 days of on-demand access so you have plenty of time to watch and apply the material. So if the time zone doesn’t work for you, you can still sign up and get the full value from the session.
Is this a lecture-style webinar or an interactive workshop?
This is an interactive workshop, not a passive lecture-style webinar. I’ll introduce key ideas and frameworks, but a good portion of the session is spent applying them to real examples, walking through practical exercises, and answering participant questions. You’re welcome to participate as much or as little as you like — you can take part in the activities live, or simply follow along quietly and learn from the demonstrations.
Do I need to prepare anything beforehand?
No preparation is required. You can come as you are. Everything you need will be explained during the session. If you’d like to get the most out of the workshop, you’re welcome to bring a paper, manuscript section, or research idea you’re currently working on, but this is completely optional. If you’re attending the replay, you can pause and complete the exercises at your own pace.
What happens after I register?
Once you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email with:

  • Your receipt and payment details
  • A calendar invite with the workshop date and time
  • A link to join the live session (or access the replay if you can’t attend live)

Closer to the workshop date, you’ll also receive reminder emails so you don’t miss it. If you registered for the replay, you’ll get the link as soon as the session ends.
I'm early in my PhD journey. Is this still relevant for me?
Yes! This workshop is designed to help researchers at all stages of their research journey. Even if you’re just starting, the exercises and examples will give you practical tools to structure your work, develop strong research questions, and make steady progress on your writing.
